By Fire Chief Benjamin Nalborczyk
February 15, 2022

Recently the department has placed in service a 2021 RAM 1500 Command Vehicle, this vehicle has many upgrades over our previous Ford Expedition style Command Vehicle to include the capability of our firefighting protective equipment to be isolated from our responders in the bed area of the truck, dual mobile radios for multiple channel operations on the scene of an incident, enhanced lighting and technology as well as a better layout for running command of incidents. This vehicle is expected to last the department for the next fifteen years or more. The unit will be assigned to the Fire Chief.

A drawer system under the pullout would better serve for organization and quick access. A litte surprised there is no side access for the cap but maybe with a short bed it wasn't really needed. Just sugestions considering many years of emergency communication response with a military / civilian support element. Nice truck, hope it serves the Chief and Dept well. decked.com/products/decked-ram-1500
