On Sunday, March 6, 2022, Company 15 units along with numerous mutual companies were alerted for a house fire in the Pinehurst subdivision of Lake Linganore. En route units were advised of multiple calls and prepared for a working fire. C15-1, DFC Kennedy, was the first arriving unit reporting a two-story single family home with fire showing from the first and second floors. Engine companies from 15 arrived and made aggressive interior attacks on both floors of the home until they were forced to take a defensive position to regroup. Units operated for approximately 4hrs on the scene with one civilian injury taken to a local burn center and two firefighter injuries that were taken to a local hospital, treated and released.
