It had been a long time goal of the Engine #1 (Engine-151) Committee Members to see the old truck pump water post its rehab several years ago, most recently Vice President Gamble set on a personal mission to see that goal reached obtaining the appropriate supplies needed and organizing a date in conjunction with Senior Technician Bowman. Members gathered on September 10th to see the long awaited event unfold, to much pleasure and just as many who drove and rode Engine #1 recalled the pumper again pumped like a charm both operating from a supply and from a draft. This event was very rewarding to the members that have worked so hard to maintain that unit and very exciting to the members that were witness to the event.
