On Monday May 14th at 2135 hours, as members were relaxing after the company drill, units were alerted for a vehicle accident in the 11200 block of Fingerboard Road, near the 75 & 80 Dragstrip. A159(Capt. Lawson), RE153(Lt. Laird), and C15(Nalborczyk) responded with 9 personnel. ET254(Lt. Wade) arrived to find a single vehicle into the guardrail with 3 patients still in the vehicle. ET254 established the Fingerboard Road Command and requested a 2nd BLS unit. ET254 further reported that a door pop would be needed to access the right front passenger. C15 arrived next and assumed the Command. A159 and RE153 arrived and began to stablize the vehicle and the to priority 3 patients and 1 priority 2 patient. A ALS unit was requested at this time. After about 10 minutes RE153's crew performed a right front door removal and all the patients were moved to backboards. CCM18, A159, and A239 each transported a patient to FMH. Units cleared the scene at 2230 hours.
