Busy Start to the New Year!

Lieutenant Kiefer Klingensmith, January 15

On Monday January 15th, units responded to Interstate 70 in the area of the 62-mile marker for a tractor-trailer on its side with one trapped. Driver was quickly extricated by RS15.

On Tuesday January 16th, units respond to a report of a first due house fire in Lake Linganore. E152 first arriving, found a fireplace with a clogged chimney and quickly scaled the assignment back to Company-15.

In the early morning hours of December 12, a fire broke out near the Frederick fairgrounds. First arriving companies found a three-story building with smoke showing from the top floor. Thursday night takes in another trap job. Shortly after 11PM the District and Spring Ridge were alerted for a vehicle accident on I-70EB near the 61MM.
