On Sunday ( 02-08-2026 ) @ 1649 hours BOX alarm 1-15 was alerted for a house fire in the 600 block of south main street in the Frederick county side ( Box 15-27 ) of Mount airy.

Unit's from Mount airy arrived to find a 2 1/2 story balloon frame constructed dwelling with smoke showing and fire running the Alpha side wall extending to the front porch roof.

Around 1630hrs today, E153 & R15 along with the ambulance were dispatched for a reported house fire in the 1000blk of Village Oak Dr in Mount Airy. Units went on the scene and found a basement fire, crews made a good & quick knock.... (Full Story & Photos)

At approximately 0400hrs this morning, E153 & R15 were alerted for a reported house fire in the 3000blk of Desmond Pl. E251 arrived with heavy fire showing from both floors. The RID & tanker task force were requested. The fire originated in the back deck area, and 5 total people were transported for evaluation. Crews operated for about 2.5 hours. 🔥...
