On Saturday September 2nd New Market and Mount Airy were alerted for a vehicle accident with a Rollover, and Entrapment. First arriving units confirmed 2 trapped in separate vehicles. On Sunday August 20th at 12:44 New Market and Mt. Airy were dispatched to Old National pike and Bill Moxley rd for a vehicle accident with rollover and 1 trapped. First arriving M18 confirmed one trapped. E153 running as a Rescue Engine arrived seconds later and went to work stabilizing the Vehicle. Another Great Week at Rocky Ridge

Over the past week Volunteers from our department have stepped up to help a neighbor, Rocky Ridge VFC #13, so they can focus on their annual carnival. Members provided Engine and Ambulance coverage on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as Engine coverage again on Saturday, this was all accomplished while leaving our West Main St Firehouse covered. District attends MATR class

On May 5th-7th 2023 Rescue Squad 15 with 4 volunteers travelled to Union Bridge in Carroll County for a combination rescue training. This training involved heavy lifting and vehicle extraction and stabilization. Crews utilized a variety of techniques and equipment to include Paratech struts, hydrafusion struts and Low pressure air bags to name a few. Both days consisted of rope rescues in the afternoon. ... On April 5th around 21:45 units from the 1st Battalion were alerted for a vehicle accident with Entrapment on I270NB at the over look. RS15(Sgt.Klingensmith) responded with a crew of 6. Co.23 arrived on scene and found one trapped. RS15 and PRE709 worked together to remove both driver side doors and the B post. On Monday Feb.13 at 0119 A box alarm was sounded for a house fire in the 8600 Blk. Of Pinecliff dr. The District mounted up and headed west in RS15 and E152. First arriving Bat.901 had a 2 story SFD with fire showing from the garage and asked for the RID. RS15 arrived threw multiple ground ladders to all sides of the home.
