Derby of New Market joins us for All Day Fundraiser

The Derby of New Market and New Market District VFC are joining together to host a fundraiser to raise funds for the Fire Company. From 11am until 9pm on Monday October 19th the event will be held at the Derby of New Market. There will be many events going on that day as detailed in the flyer.

Around 1300hrs units were dispatched to Interstate-70 in the area of the Rest Area for a reported hay trailer on fire, units arrived to find several hay bales on fire, and requested additional units and tankers.

On Sunday July 19th at 0331 hours, Ambulance 159 was alerted to respond to 1100 blk of Village Gate Drive for an inhalation emergency. While in route, the assignment was upgraded to a hazmat alarm. Volunteers & DFRS Staff Respond to Reported Dwelling Fire

At 15:26 on 6/22/2020 Volunteer and DFRS staff respond to a 15-22 Box alarm (with mutual aid form Carroll County and Howard County). The call went out as a Dwelling Fire and was soon established to be a possible lightning strike.
