This annual event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and this year it's more important than ever. On Wednesday May 26th, around 1820 hours, New Market’s Wednesday evening duty crew started off early with a Rescue Squad transfer to Howard County station 13 (Glenwood). RS15 (Sgt. On Saturday, May 22nd, New Market’s E153 travelled down to Calvert County Maryland for a Funeral standby at Dunkirk VFD, while they laid to rest one of their own and paid there respects to FF Raleigh Midkiff III. On Sunday May 23, Rescue Squad 15(Sgt.Klingensmith) and A158(EMSII Willems) and C15-1 (DFC Kennedy) were alerted for a vehicle accident with entrapment in the area of the 13500 block of Old National Pike. Early Morning Tractor-Trailer Rollover

On Thursday, April 22 at 0550 hours, Rescue Squad 15, Engine 152, and Ambulance 158 were alerted for a tractor-trailer rollover with entrapment in the area of Route 75 and Route 144. A158 was first arriving reported one tractor-trailer on its side leaking fuel from a saddle tank. Chief 15, RS15 and E152 arrived moments later and confirmed no entrapment.
