Van vs School Bus on Woodville Rd

Around 1600 hr's today ( 10-6-2021 ) RESCUE BOX 15 was alerted for a vehicle accident involving a school bus in the 5800BLK of Woodville RD.

While en route ECC advised responding unit's they had received multiple calls advising a van struck a loaded school bus head on with reports of up to 30 kids possible on the bus.

Unit's arrived to confirm a loaded bus vs a van with no entrapment.

Around 1330 this afternoon ( 10-6-21 ) unit's were dispatched to I-70 in the area of the 65MM for a vehicle accident reported serious.

Unit's arrived to find an SUV that had struck a disabled vehicle parked along the shoulder of the roadway.

There were no occupants in the disabled vehicle.

E-152 had the I-70 command.

Fire at mini storage cause's estimated $1 million in damages

Around 1530 today ( 10-2-2021 ) Box alarm 15-04 was alerted for a Building fire in the 10600 Blk of old National pike @ New Market mini storage

Units responded and found a large column of black smoke that could be seen from miles away , units arrived and found several campers and auto's well involved with fire.

Around 12:13, Station 15 was alerted to an outside investigation for smoke in the area in area of McKaig Rd and Gas House Pk. A few minutes later, ECC dispatched a small building fire in the 7400blk of McKaig Rd. Once enroute, E153 saw a large column of smoke in the same area and was added to the building fire. Units were dispatched around 0125 in the morning Engine 271 arrived on scene reports garage fire with extension into the house, then calls for Rapid Intervention Dispatch Chief 15 calls for a Tanker Task Force and then takes command.
