Responding unit's reported a large column of smoke in the area and requested the RIT and Tanker task force.

CCLT 8-3 arrived to find a 50x100 building fully involved with exposure issues on the Delta and Charlie side with a large woods fire.

Around 1315 today unit's were alerted for a woods fire threating a structure in the 5500BLK of Woodville Rd.

Unit's arrived to find about 1 acre of woods on fire moving up a steep hill with no threat to any structure's.

Crew's were able to stop the spread before the fire reached a large pile of tires.

Crew's remained on the scene for mop up and to make sure all hot spots were put out.

On Sunday ( 02-08-2026 ) @ 1649 hours BOX alarm 1-15 was alerted for a house fire in the 600 block of south main street in the Frederick county side ( Box 15-27 ) of Mount airy.

Unit's from Mount airy arrived to find a 2 1/2 story balloon frame constructed dwelling with smoke showing and fire running the Alpha side wall extending to the front porch roof.
