New Market Fire Makes a Quick Stop on Building Fire

At 2219 hours New Market D.V.F.C. and Mount Airy V.F.D. were alerted for smoke coming from an unattached large shop building. Chief-15(FC Nalborczyk) established command asked Engine-153(AFC Williamson) to provided a 360 of the structure. On Sunday, March 6, 2022, Company 15 units along with numerous mutual companies were alerted for a house fire in the Pinehurst subdivision of Lake Linganore. On Monday, February 28th, 2022, Companies 25 and 15 along with Truck and Tanker 23 were dispatched for a chicken coop and unattached shed fire. Upon arrival, E251 reported a chicken coop well involved with extension to the 12’ x 20’ shed. Chief 15-2 arrived with E152 and assumed command.
