Mutual Aide to Howard County for the House Fire

In the early morning hours of Friday May 15th units were alerted for a house fire on Long Corner Road in Howard County, MD. E152 (Lt. Conaway), RE153 (FF D. White), C15-1 (DFC Moe), and C15-3 (AFC Thews) responded with 14 volunteers. First arriving HCE41 from Lisbon VFC found a two story uninhabited home with fire throughout. A defensive attack was initiated. E152 and RE153 assisted with stretching the multiple lines and extinguishing the fire. C15-3 was assigned as the Safety Officer and C15-1 the Charlie Division Supervisor. The fire was knocked in about an hour, with units clearing about 4 hours after being dispatched.
