On Saturday July 18th around 530PM, Company-15 was alerted for an Illegal Open Burning in the 6800blk of Boyers Mill Rd bringing B156(Prob. Rippeon) and E152(Tech T. Fossett) upon the responding units noticed a large column of black smoke in the sky and advised ECC they would be upgrading this assignment to an unknown outside fire bringing D15(Capt Conaway) and C15-1(DFC Moe) to the assignment. Upon the arrival of B156 they found a large amount of construction debris and machinery on fire as well as extension into the woods adjacent to the fire. B156 quickly deployed an 1.5" attack line to protect additional exposures and begin darkening down the fire, upon arrival of E152 they laid a 4" supply line back the lane and crews assisted with the extinguishment of the fire. D15 arrived and requested an additional Engine Company bringing RE153(Sgt Kline), which was placed in service while responding as units on the scene made a very quick knock on the fire. Units operated on the scene for an hour and a half before clearing for service. In total 14 Volunteers responded on this response.
