On Tuesday, January 22nd at 0751 hours, RS15 (DFRS Capt. Davis) and A259 responded mutual aid to Montgomery County for a vehicle accident in the 28400 block of Ridge Road. Callers reported a head-on collision with one patient trapped. Montgomery Engine 713 arrived to confirm the reports and confirmed one patient heavily pinned. Additionally, there were a total of three patients, two being serious trauma patients. Aviation was requested for one patient, while the other trauma patient was declared a priority 4 (deceased). RS15 extricated the pinned patient, while E251 responded for a landing zone at Gladhill Brothers Tractor Mart. Units from Co. 13 remained on scene for quite some time while the incident was investigated. C713 held the Ridge Road command. Please keep the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
