Began as a 911 Dispatcher with Carroll County, MD for 2 1/2 years then moved on to employment with DCFD as a Firefighter, hope to retire as a Deputy Fire Chief |

| Why did you join the fire department? |
I am a 3rd generation Firefighter, I was raised under the belief that everyone should give back to their community. |

Being a Dad with my daughters |

| What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
The Brotherhood, no matter what your darkest moment is or whatever you may need in life there is a group of folks there for you to help you in any way possible. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
My most memorable moment took place with DCFD on January 1st, 2009 around 0700hrs in the morning we were dispatched for a house on fire, upon arrival companies went to work with significant fire in the structure. Upon companies making the push they began to encounter significant rescues needing made, the scene looked like something from the movies with bodies coming out every window needing medical care. In all 11 were removed from the building four were saved and seven were fatalities. |
