Over the past week Volunteers from our department have stepped up to help a neighbor, Rocky Ridge VFC #13, so they can focus on their annual carnival. Members provided Engine and Ambulance coverage on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as Engine coverage again on Saturday, this was all accomplished while leaving our West Main St Firehouse covered. We also attended their Fireman's Parade and took home the following awards, 1st Place Engine Company 1,000GPM and over, 2nd Place Ambulance, Company Traveling the Longest Distance and Chairman's Award. Our members pride themselves in helping other departments as well as our apparatus.
