On Sunday February 26th, as members were busy serving the Country Breakfast, units were dispatched for the vehicle accident with entrapment at Route 144 and Route 75. A159(Stearn), RE153(Lt. Laird), ET154(Sgt. Thews), C15(Nalborczyk), and Co. 15 Fire Police responded with 14 personnel. First arriving A159 found a single vehicle in the woods up a steep embankment with one patient out of the vehicle. BC901 responded from the station and established the initial command before passing it to Chief 15. The ambulance crew quickly requested aviation for a possible head injury. The squad crew assisted the ambulance with packaging the patient, while the engine set up the landing zone for MSP Trooper 3 at the scene. Once Trooper 3 had landed on the scene a determination was made that transport by ground would suffice and Trooper 3 returned to service. A159 transported the single patient a short time later.
