On Sunday April 28th at 1052 hours units from Mount Airy and A159 were alerted for a vehicle accident with rollover on I-70 eastbound in the area of Exit 68. Chief 15 immediately requested ECC to add RE153 to the assignment. A159(Chief Nalborczyk), RE153(FF Thews), B156(Tech. Lawson), CAR15(FF Kline), and CAR15-1(FF White) responded with 11 volunteers. CCR1 arrived first to find a two vehicle accident with a mini-van rolled over down an embankment. CCR1 established the I-70 Command and advised there were two patients for transport. A159 and CCM18 evaluated the patients and A159 transported both to FMH. All units cleared a short time later.
