Just after a little PT at the local high school and a quick trip to the grocery store for vittles the RS was alerted to assist A915 for a injured person after a minor crash RT75 and RT144. Units arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle rear-end collision with one occupant still inside. Due to the patient's injuries and the type of compact vehicle involved, the RS had to crib the vehicle and remove the drivers door. The KED was utilized and a medic was requested for the patient having chest pain. The patient was removed and taken to a local ED. Shortly after lunch the station was again alerted for a MVC on I-70 at RT75. Units arrived to find a vehicle vs 2 tractor trailers and one occupant trapped. Command was established and the crew once again went to work. Both passenger side doors and the B post were removed. An additional medic transport and medic unit requested for a 2nd patient. All patients were packaged and transported in under 20mins. On this run ET915 was utilized for a protection line and traffic control.
