On Friday afternoon, A159 and RE153 were dispatched for the MVA at Boyers Mill Road and Gas House Pike. While enroute communications advised the incident was going to be located on Boyers Mill Road prior to Gas House Pike. First arriving A159 went on scene with a two vehicle MVA, off-set head on with occupants still in each vehicle. The request for an additional BLS, an ALS and an Engine company were made. A159 split their crew and began patient care on both patients. Upon the arrival of RE153, their crew split as well, stabilizing both vehicles and removing a door to make access to one of the occupants. Crews had both patients extricated, and immobilized for the incoming units upon their arrival. The command was terminated and both patients were transported to local hospitals.
