On Saturday November 14, units from Carroll, Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery counties were alerted for a townhouse fire in 200 block of West Manor Court. Engine 152, Rescue Squad 15, and Chief 15 responded immediately. Carroll Engine 101 was the first arriving Engine and had smoke showing from the alpha side of a two-story multi family home. Engine 152 arrived as the second due engine company and stretched a 400 foot attack line to the Charlie side and made entry, extinguishing a kitchen fire. Rescue Squad 15 was the first arriving special service and completed searches and opened up as they searched. Crews dealt with hoarding conditions which made initial forcible entry difficult and required extensive overhaul to ensure that all fire was extinguished.
