On Saturday December 12 in the early morning hours, units were alerted for a house fire in 12000 blk of Main Street in Libertytown. Engine 152 (FF3 Klingensmith) immediately respond with six volunteers. Engine 172 arrived on scene with a two-story single-family detached dwelling with smoke showing and requested the rapid invention dispatch. Rescue Squad 15 was alerted to replace units on the initial alarm and responded immediately with a crew of 6. E152 originally was the 5th due engine on the assignment, but was the third arriving engine and assumed those duties. Engine 152 completed a split lay from a cistern at Station 17 to the scene. Engine 152 crew deployed the 400' pre-connected attack line to the C-side and extinguished fire on the first floor, as well as checking the basement for extension. RS15 was the first arriving rescue squad and conducted primary and secondary searches and performed overhaul. Co.15 units operated on the scene for approximately two hours before returning to service
