On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Company 15 units were alerted for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Route-144 and Woodville Road. Upon arrival, Frederick Emergency Communications advised responding units that the accident would be one mile north from Route-144 on Woodville Road. A158 arrived to find a single vehicle that had run off the road into a ditch striking large rocks. A158 quickly advised one patient trapped. Chief 15, establishing command, requested CCM19, CCE12 and Maryland State Aviation (Trooper 3) for a trauma patient. E152’s and E153’s crews worked for approximately 22 mins to extricate the patient for transport to a local trauma center.
